The Mighty Lumberhorn is a hillbilly bluegrass band that performs in and around Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The bands most unusual characteristic was its home-made bass, dubbed the Lumberhorn, thus giving the band its name. Made of plywood and having two piano strings, it wasn't very well suited for playing with other instruments or amplifying, and it was then burned at a bluegrass festival.
