The Fall of Hyperion is the second science fiction novel by Dan Simmons in his Hyperion Cantos fictional universe. It was written in 1990 and was nominated for the Nebula Award for Best Novel that same year. It was also nominated for the Hugo Award for Best Novel in 1991. In 45 chapters and an epilogue, The Fall of Hyperion records the fall of the Hegemony of Man.
