I'll correct the type info on this topic. Note that you can do the same: to detype a topic, click on the existing type and choose &amp;quot;Remove&amp;quot; from the drop-down menu; to apply a new type, click on the Types property header of the topic, then use autocomplete to type and select the desired type.&lt;/p&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;embossing is a process not a media. it is done on many media, plastic,paper,mud,leather,metals,etc. just as casting is a process done on many media.clay ,plastic,synthetic stone,metals(bronze,copper,gold,silver,zinc,lead,etc.) I think It would be helpful to link process to media and the reverse.&lt;/p&gt;</content>

The art form is linked to art media (and vice versa) through artworks, without any hierarchy. The Artwork type has properties to capture its art form and art media used, with reverse links back to the artwork. That means if you browse an art medium, you can see a list of artworks using that art medium, and if you look at an art form, such as Painting, you can see a list of paintings that users have entered.

Other examples are photography, sculpture, etc.What you're looking for, namely the material or media used to construct a work of art, is covered in the Visual Art Medium type:
